The end of the year is quickly approaching. All of our 5th graders have been registered for Middle School. Students will be receiving a letter during the summer informing you of the open house which will be held in August. Please try to take advantage of this opportunity to tour your new school and find out where your classes are located.
Mrs. Kutnak will be talking with the students about middle school at the beginning of June. She will also have the students practice opening the locker locks. The Career Museum will be held again this year on Wednesday June 4, 2008 in the cafeteria. Mrs. Sheffield's and Ms. Weber's students will be preparing their reports on their career and dressing up to make thier presentations. Students will be presenting from 9:00 - 10:30 and then again from 1:30 - 2:45 on that day. Parents are welcome to attend.Mrs. Kutnak and Mrs. Beda will be finishing up with the deployment groups in the next few weeks. This is the Guidance Team for the 2007 - 2008 school year. Mrs. Kutnak is here each day and works with students in grade one and grades three through five. She is responsible for the mentoring programs, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Operation Hero and will also work with the upper level deployment group. Mrs. Beda is here on Wednesdays and Thursdays and she works with all of the students in kindergarten and grade two. She also will be working with the primary deployment group.
