Welcome to Mrs. Sheffield's Web Page!!

* Remember that every Friday conduct folders come home and should be signed and returned on Monday.

* Tuesday folders come home on every Tuesday and contain important papers for you to read.

* Reading is homework for me every night. Make sure that your child is reading and please sign their reading log!!! **Reading can include library books, newspapers, content (science, social studies, ect.)books, comics, magazine. It is so important for each student to be reading on a DAILY basis.

* Word Study folders are sent home every Monday and are due back every Friday. Please make sure you are practicing these words with your child. An assessment over the words and the sort will be given on Friday.

* Remember to be checking your child's book numbers regularly.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Sheffield. I am a third year teacher here at White Oaks. I graduated from Angelo State University in 2004 with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Texas is the place that I call home. My husband and I moved to Virginia Beach in 2001. My mother was a teacher for 30 years and I always knew that teaching is what I was destined to do. I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you. My classroom is always open to each and everyone of you.
